Penile enhancement correction is the evaluation and adjustment of work another provider has already performed. Men come to us after filler injections, fat transfer or surgery done elsewhere, and the reasons vary. Some have visible unevenness. Some can feel firm areas that were not there before. Some are simply unhappy with how it looks and have never been given a straight answer about why.
What can be done depends almost entirely on what material was placed and how long it has been there. Some materials can be adjusted or reduced. Others are permanent and cannot be taken back out, although the appearance around them can sometimes be improved. That distinction matters more than anything else on this page, and working it out is the first thing your visit is for.

Unevenness from side to side or along the shaft is the most common reason men come in. Your evaluation looks at what is causing it before any plan is discussed.

Firm areas and nodules you can feel are assessed by examination and history. What can be done about them depends on the material and how long it has been there.
Unwanted or Excess Volume
Some men are unhappy because there is more volume than they wanted, or because it sits in the wrong place. Both are assessed the same way at your first visit.
Knowing What Was Used on You
Most men who come to us do not know exactly what was injected. Records are often thin, and work done overseas usually arrives with none at all. Bring whatever you have: receipts, product names, dates, photographs, anything the previous provider gave you. If you have nothing, that is common and it is not a problem. Dr. Wierschem works from what he finds on examination and from the history you can give him. Knowing the material matters because it decides what is possible, so this is the part of the visit that gets the most time.
What a Correction Cannot Do
There are limits, and you should hear them before you book anything. Permanent materials cannot simply be taken back out, and where scarring has formed the tissue does not return to what it was. Sometimes the honest answer is that the appearance can be improved but not restored. Sometimes the right answer is a referral to a reconstructive surgeon rather than a plan with us. Dr. Wierschem tells you which of those applies at the first visit, not after you have paid, and you are free to take that away and think about it.

Can filler placed by another provider be corrected?
Often, yes, but it depends on what was used. Temporary materials and permanent materials behave very differently, and the approach is not the same for each. Your examination establishes which you are dealing with before any plan is discussed. Dr. Wierschem explains what he believes is achievable in your case at that first visit.
What if I do not know what was injected into me?
That is common and it does not stop you booking. Many men were never told, and work done overseas usually comes with no paperwork. Bring anything you do have, including receipts, dates or photographs. Where records are missing, the assessment is made from examination and from the history you can give.
Can permanent filler or silicone be corrected?
Permanent materials cannot simply be taken back out, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise. What is sometimes possible is improving the appearance around them. In other cases the right answer is a referral to a reconstructive surgeon, and Dr. Wierschem will tell you if that is where you stand.
Will I look smaller after a correction?
Appearance can change, and that is part of what you discuss before anything is done. Some corrections reduce volume, some redistribute it, and some do neither. Dr. Wierschem explains what your particular situation is likely to look like afterward so that you can decide with that in front of you.
Will a correction affect sensation or erections?
Concerns about sensation and about erections are part of the examination, not an afterthought. Tell us about any change you have noticed since the original procedure. Those findings shape what is recommended, and in some cases they point toward a different service entirely rather than toward a correction.
Should I go back to the provider who did the original work?
That is your decision, and for some men it is reasonable. Many men prefer a fresh assessment from someone with no stake in defending the first result. We do not need to speak to your previous provider, although any records you can obtain from them are useful.
Can I have enhancement again after a correction?
Sometimes, and it is one of the questions men ask first. Whether it is sensible, and when, depends on what was corrected and on how the tissue settles afterward. That conversation belongs at a follow-up visit rather than at the first one, once Dr. Wierschem can see how you have responded.
