Anyone who is looking for improved muscle definition is a good candidate.
You may not be a candidate if the following conditions apply to you:
- Patients with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, or other implanted electronic devices
- Patients with severe cardiac disease or epilepsy
- A history of coagulation disorders
- Recent surgical procedure over the area of potential treatment
- Any history of cancer over the area of potential treatment
- Chronic abdominal or intestinal conditions if the abdomen is being treated
- Pregnancy/breastfeeding
The treatment usually takes 30 minutes to complete. It may take up to an hour if more muscle groups are targeted.
Most patients will require 6 treatments per area being treated.
Recommendations for EMS treatment with the Venus Bliss Max ™ are a minimum of one treatment per week with 73 hours between each treatment.
The Venus Bliss Max ™ EMS received high comfort ratings during clinical studies. There may mild discomfort during the treatment however you should not have any muscle fatigue or pain afterwards.
There may some mild tenderness, swelling, muscle spasms or tingling. These are normal findings after the treatments and typically resolve within 48 hours. The symptoms should not interfere with your daily activities.
There is no downtime and no physical restrictions after treatment with the Venus Bliss Max ™ EMS. You may resume your regular activities immediately after completion of your treatment.
